Federal Judge Orders Obama To Produce Birth Certificate

One of Pennsylvania's most prominent Democrats, attorney Phillip Berg, has sought an injunction in federal court to remove Barack Obama's name from the presidential ballot on the grounds that he is not a natural born United States citizen, and therefore ineligible to become president.

In a recent ruling, the judge not only denied a motion by Obama's attorneys to dismiss the case, but also ordered that Obama immediately produce the following to Mr. Berg so that he may proceed with his pursuit of the injunction:

1.) A certified copy of his ORIGINAL long version birth certificate

2.) A certified copy of his "Certification of Citizenship"

3.) A certified copy of his "Oath of Allegiance"

Ironically, I guess you could say that "what goes around comes around." Obama actually won his first election to the Illinois State Senate by having his two opponents removed from the ballot (including the black female incumbent) on "legal technicalities" regarding the validity of signatures they submitted to get their names on the ballot. However, if it turns out that Berg's allegations are true, we have a blatant constitutional violation, and Obama has attempted to commit a FRAUD upon the American people. You can read the judge's order here:

Again, it's one of Obama's fellow DEMOCRATS who is bringing this action. Hang on folks, this may be a mighty bumpy ride!!!

Last Night

Nobody said giving a speech with McCain's strength, well I guess he proved it last night.  Now, granted I'm still totally for McCain, but, he could've had a little more help with the delivery of the speech.

However, with that said, I'm still impressed -- I think he showed the country, he's more like them and can connect more with them.  McCain's town hall style acceptance speech makes Obama's "second coming of Christ" display look like a movie set.  According to Sarah Palin the stage has been returned to a movie lot! :-)

Did you watch McCain's speech?  I was inspired and am voting MCCAIN / PALIN ' 08!  COUNTRY FIRST!

Vice President Palin

Sarah Palin's speech just ended, and for anyone who thought a choice was made based on gender or rushed, you're wrong.

While she started off a little safe, after introducing herself and her family, she tore it up -- she introduced herself to us and then told it like it was ... I loved when she said that some politicians use change to promote their careers, which mccain uses his career to promote change, how McCain is the same from small town Ohio to San Fransisco, and how McCain doesn't run with the Washington herd, he runs with his country, not his party and isn't looking for a fight but, isn't afraid of one either!

Ohh, and Obama stop writing your books, write a piece of legislation.. LOVE IT!

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a 'community organizer,' except that you have actual responsibilities."

And I agree, TAKE THE MAVERICK OUT OF THE SENATE AND PUT HIM IN THE WHITE HOUSE!

It's on ... BARRACUDA!!!

Is Bristol Palin Running as VP?

The news today is Governor Sarah Palin's 17-year old daughter is pregnant.  So of course that means Sarah Palin can't control her own family, how can she control a country?

First of all, Bristol Palin (the governor's daughter) is not in jail, or on drugs.  The girl had sex with her boyfriend, what other 17-year old out there isn't?

Now, I do respect Obama's response, telling supporters and reporters to leave Palin's family alone.  I also find it interesting that anti-McCain folks are trying to use this against Palin, because, umm, they've got nothing else against the woman?!?

Excuse me, is it Sarah Palin or Bristol Palin listed as VP on the ticket?

Please!

MCCAIN / PALIN '08!

McCain Picks Palin

Earlier today Senator John McCain announced his running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

I first heard of Governor Palin earlier this year when it was clear Hillary would loose the nomination.

Now, granted I know alot of the reason Palin was looked at by the McCain campaign is her gender, there's no surprise there, however when you look past that this woman is not bad!

She's a little more socially conservative than I like, and is no Hillary Clinton by any means, but, once again, when it comes to bread and butter "red Meat" issues, she is perfect.

She's a former executive and is also one of the best things to ever happen to the state of Alaska.  She understands the importance of off-shore drilling, and she's also taken Alaska and balanced their budget for the first time since the state has been a "state".

While she came out and said she disagrees with same sex marriage, it should also be noted that Governor Palin also gave same sex couples who work for the state of Alaska health insurance and benefits, something that many state Republican leaders disagreed with.

All in all, this woman isn't a bad choice.  I love how the Obama campaign (the campaign of hope and integrity--YUCK), released such nasty words about her earlier today.  Especially since when it was clear Biden was Obama's running  mate, McCain praised Biden and called him a good choice.  I think Obama is afraid.

Sarah Palin may seem soft spoken, but, as one Alaskan lawmaker told Fox News earlier today "there are several people who've been hung out and their bodies left to dry by Sarah Palin", she's tough and has a nickname of barracuda.  Those who think Biden will rip her a new one, haven't seen it yet!

It should be noted that since Governor Palin has said she's anti gay-marriage and pro-life, once again people "don't understand why I support her or McCain"... geez, it's down right stupid to support Obama because he wants gay marriage and is pro-choice -- what about national security and the economy.  What is more important?  Roe V Wade is a law, it's on the books, we have a Democratic controlled senate and congress and before anything gets passed on Roe v Wade or gay rights it goes through them.  Give me a break...

Palin is the only former executive on either ticket, and is also the only one on either ticket who has ever been the head of a government!  She may have only led the state of Alaska, but, look at what she did while there... remember, BITCHES GET THINGS DONE!

I love Hillary Clinton, and Governor Palin is no Hillary, and will never be -- and I would never and will never compare her to Hillary, socially on issues they're different.  But, when I look at the McCain / Palin ticket and Obama / Biden ticket, McCain / Palin will get my support.

Also, I enjoy reading your comments and e-mails on this issue, keep them coming, I know I wouldn't blog about these issues, but, I've since changed my mind.  I invite you to read even if we disagree, sometimes we teach other things by our disagreements, and it's those disagreements that make us Americans.

Democratic Party Unity

I grew up thinking Republicans were the "bad ones".  When George W. Bush ran for office, he ran on "family values" criticizing liberal views, gay rights and women's rights.  I thought the Democratic party was the party who embraced everyone, even the ones who don't believe or share their views or values.

I didn't really care for John Kerry, but, I voted for him in 2004, because I thought as a gay Democrat, it was what I was suppose to do.  Then came 2007, Hillary Clinton announced her intention to run to become the nominee for the Democratic party.  To me it was a no brainier.  A women of great strength and courage and wisdom, then came Obama and a Hope and Change campaign.  He took peoples vulnerabilities from the Bush years and somehow managed to connect Hillary Clinton to George Bush.

When the primary season got nasty, Hillary Clinton preached the truth.  She told us Obama wasn't ready to lead, to look at Obama's non-existent voting record, look at his history.  I did, and I didn't like what I saw, and well I didn't see.

Now fast forward to now.  Clinton has lost, Obama is the nominee.  Now, as a gay Democrat, am I required to vote for Barack Hussein Obama?  NO... I am a gay Democrat, but, first and foremost I am a American.  I use my voice as a American voter to vote for what I feel is best for our nation, which is in a real mess.  And personally I refuse to vote for the 2nd coming of Jimmy Carter.

Now, I know I said no more political blogging but, this has pissed me off!

It's not only irresponsible but, it's down right stupidity to vote for someone based solely on their political party.  Hell, Hillary Clinton said this earlier this year...

"Voting for unity is admirable, but voting for unity for the sake of unity is unjustifiable."

In 2008 we have Barack Obama and John McCain.  Yes, one is the Republican and one is the Democrat.

I care about gay rights, I care about Roe V Wade, I care about universal healthcare and I care about ending the war.  But, I also care about leadership, I care about national security, and I care about our country.  John McCain's slogan is "country first".

Earlier tonight I received this IM from a un-named friend...

IF you vote for McCain, you're betraying yourself as a gay man and everything we've spent years building.  Listen to Hillary as you so often do when she says Barack is our man.

Let's look at McCain's voting record on the issue of gay rights... McCain was a outspoken Republican who voted AGAINST the federal marriage act, McCain has also said numerous times, his personal feelings or views on issues like gay rights will not be brought up.  McCain agrees and understands, there are so many more issues Americans are faced with than stupid crap like that.

And, on Obama, I've yet to hear a speech outlining his plans... his plans on fixing the economy, a responsible way on ending the war... I'm so freaking tired of the CHANGE speech.. It's a great advertising campaign, but, that's all it is.

I compare Obama to empty calories.  Empty calories fill you up, but they fill you up on nothing.  They're a quick fix that feels good, but you feel hungry later.

Obama's message feels good, it's makes you all warm inside, and in a perfect world it would ring true, but, damn let's get our head out of the clouds and back to Planet Earth, not Planet Obama!

Yes, Hillary Clinton endorsed Obama, she has to, she did what is required of her.  However, it's up to Obama to seal the deal, and he hasn't done it.  His Obama Love Fest orgy convention and vice presidential pick has yet to boost his rating in the polls.  WHY?  Because Obama is an empty calorie, and those who haven't drank the kool aid know this!  But, then again kool-aid is empty calories, at least the non sugar-free kind.

Yes, I am gay, I am a registered Democrat and I am pro-choice.  But, before all of that, I am a American.  I don't want to vote for a President who isn't proud to be an American.

I love all my friends, even those who have and will vote for Barack Obama in the fall.  Voting is one of the most important and protected rights as Americans we have.  We are allowed to vote for who we want.  If I choose to vote for John McCain then I will.  Am I passionate about McCain?  NO.. But, since America was blind and missed out on a real leader, I have to see who  is the lesser of 2 evils.

I will agree to disagree with anyone, and with some of you who read this I do, and I respect you views and you respect mine.  And there is nothing wrong with that.  That's why we are friends.

But, if my so-called friends don't understand that, then you were never my friend to begin with.

Hell, I will probably just vote for Ralph Nadar anyways or write Hillary's name in...

As in the words of the great Hillary Clinton herself,

"It's time we moved from good words to good works, from sound bites to sound solutions. Americans have a choice in this election and that choice matters. While words matter greatly, the best words in the world aren't enough unless you match them with action."

"My opponent gives speeches, I offer solutions."

And why will I NOT vote for Barack Obama ...

"When an emergency happens here in America, there is no time for speeches and on the job training."
